Orion Township Public Library Launches New Website with Vega Promote Web. Innovative, part of Clarivate, announced that the Orion Township Public Library in Michigan has gone live with its new Vega Promote Web website. [Full Announcement].

Franklin Township Public Library chooses Polaris and Vega Discover. Innovative, part of Clarivate, announced that the Franklin Township Public Library in Somerset County, New Jersey has selected Polaris as their new integrated library system and Vega Discover as their new discovery layer. The Franklin Township Public Library serves a community of approximately 68,500 residents with three branches. FTPL's collections include local resources, including physical and digital archives of local photos and newspapers, as well as a reference collection of New Jersey life and history. The library's events include story times for little ones, chess for adults, jewelry making classes, Zumba and yoga classes, film showings, tai-chi, tech help, and book clubs. [Full Announcement].

Patron Point announced that Franklin Township Public Library (FTPL) in Somerset, New Jersey, has chosen to implement its patron engagement platform to support their mission of being a major information and cultural resource for all members of the community. By enhancing library communications, FTPL will be able to make patrons aware of the variety of materials and services available for their educational, professional, and personal needs. Huntington City-Township Public Library (IN) adopts Patron Point. Patron Point announced that Huntington City-Township Public Library in Huntington, Indiana, has adopted our engagement platform to support its mission to provide outstanding library services to its patrons. [Full Announcement].

Orion Township Public Library Joins Vega Community. Innovative, a ProQuest company, announced that Orion Township Public Library has joined the Early Access partner program for Vega Discover, Innovative's new, modern discovery solution. [Full Announcement].

Equinox migrates Wainfleet Township Public Library to Evergreen ILS. Equinox announced the migration of Wainfleet Township Public Library of Wainfleet, Ontario to Evergreen ILS, as it joins the Libraries in Niagara Cooperative (LiNC) and the international Evergreen ILS community. Jefferson Township Public Library (NJ) selects Patron Point. Patron Point announced that Jefferson Township Public Library (NJ) has selected its patron relationship management system to support the Library's marketing efforts. Equinox migrates the Whitehall Township Public Library to the PaILS SPARK consortium. Equinox announced the successful migration of the Whitehall Township Public Library to Evergreen within the Pennsylvania Integrated Library System SPARK Consortium. [Full Announcement].

Pennsylvania Integrated Library System growth in 2017. Pennsylvania Integrated Library System (PaILS), a consortium of Evergreen libraries, saw additional growth in 2017 adding the Bedford County Library System, Memorial Library of Nazareth and Vicinity, Bangor Public Library, Tunkhannock Public Library, Allentown Public Library, Bethlehem Area Public Library, Easton Public Library, and Shamokin Public Library. All of these libraries are now live on SPARK, the PaILS-operated, open source, Evergreen-based ILS. New libraries for 2018 will include the Huntingdon County Library, Potter-Tioga Library System, and 11 public libraries in Lehigh and Carbon Counties. This will bring the total to 122 service outlets. SPARK is hosted by the Equinox Open Library Initiative who also provide migration, consulting, training, and development services. Equinox adds Shamokin and Coal Township Public Library to the PaILS Consortium. Equinox announced that they have successfully migrated the Shamokin and Coal Township Public Library to Evergreen within the PaILS SPARK Consortium. [Full Announcement].

Biblionix adds twenty-eight new customers from August 2016 through February 2017. Biblionix, the major award winner for library automation systems, today announced that twenty-eight (28) new customers migrated to its Apollo system in from August of 2016 through February of 2017. Bloomfield Township Public Library (MI) now live on Sierra. Innovative announced that the Bloomfield Township Public Library in Michigan went live with the Sierra Services Platform last week. Middletown Township Public Library goes live on Koha with ByWater Solutions. ByWater Solutions announced that the Middletown Township Public Library, of Middletown, NJ. is now live on their installation of the Koha integrated library system. [Full Announcement].

Evergreen Indiana Now Has 62 Libraries Live on Evergreen. Evergreen Indiana continues to grow with 62 libraries now live on Evergreen, the consortial, open-source library automation software. West Bloomfield Transitions to SkyRiver in Record Time. The West Bloomfield Township Public Library in West Bloomfield, MI has completed the conversion from its legacy bibliographic service to being fully operational with SkyRiver cataloging in less than a month.
