EBSCO Information Services Middle East Technical University in Turkey Chooses EBSCO Discovery Service. Middle East Technical University selected EBSCO Discovery Service from EBSCO Publishing. After evaluating a variety of services METU chose EDS based on the discovery service’s sophistication and development. EDS was seen as a way to upgrade the library from an unsatisfactory federated search system and provide a service befitting the high level of students who attend METU. [Full Announcement].

Ex Libris announced that additional libraries from around the world have selected the Primo discovery and delivery solution as a unified gateway to their library collections and will join the international Primo community in benefiting from the Primo Central mega-aggregate of scholarly e-content, scheduled for release in mid 2010. Innovative Interfaces, Inc. INACAP Libraries (Chile) to Support Teaching and Research with Millennium. The Technical University of Chile, Vocational and Technical Training Institute (INACAP) has selected Millennium and will migrate from Horizon and Alexandria library systems. With 82,000 students and 25 campuses, INACAP is the largest institution of higher education in Chile. [Full Announcement].

Innovative Interfaces, Inc. Consortium of Catalonian University Libraries (Spain) selects Millennium. The Consortium of Catalonian University Libraries in Barcelona, Spain selected the Millennium integrated library solution. The nine-member group is migrating from a VTLS Classic system. The member organizations include: Autonomous University of Barcelona, Barcelona University, Catalonia Technical University, Girona University, Lleida University, The National Library of Catalonia, Open University of Catalonia, Pompeu Fabra University, and Rovira and Virgili University. VTLS, Inc.. VTLS announces 23 new international sales of the VIRTUA and FASTRAC products. VTLS announced today that by the end of 2004, VTLS had signed an additional twenty-three new international sales of the VIRTUA and FASTRAC products. The sales were distributed around the globe, with seven new sales in Malaysia, four in Belgium, three in India, two in Thailand, two in UAE, one in Pakistan, one in Qatar, one in Indonesia, one in Kuwait, and one in Russia. Two of the sales were of FASTRAC, VTLS''s RFID product, one in Belgium and one in Malaysia, indicating the product''s potential to meet the diverse needs of a global marketplace. VTLS, Inc.. Twenty-one libraries select Virtua this quarter. VTLS Inc. ended its fiscal year on June 30, 2002, on a very high note with increased customers, revenues and profits.
