South Central Library System (WI) deploys Solus Library App. Solus announced that after an industry market-wide search, the South Central Library System has selected – and deployed the Solus mobile Library App. SCLS is one of Wisconsin's largest public library systems serving 49 member libraries through its consortial ILS and in turn serving 440,000 registered patrons. South Central Library System selects Bibliovation. LibLime, a Division of PTFS, has been selected by South Central Library System (SCLS) as the winning vendor to implement the Bibliovation Library Services Platform after a lengthy and competitive review of industry LSP’s. LibLime responded to SCLS’s technical requirements with a comprehensive functional response, on-site demonstration and a compelling cost proposal which has resulted in a contract award. LibLime will provide development, migration and continued support services to SCLS. LibLime and PTFS specialists will work closely with SLCS staff to continue to upgrade their current LibLime system. South Central Library System impressed with LibLime Koha Solr Deployment. After using the new release of LibLime Koha 4.14 with Lucene Solr for a few weeks, South Central Library System, based in Wisconsin, has strong positive feedback for LibLime regarding the latest iteration of the open-source software. SCLS maintains a 42-member LibLime Koha union catalog with over 832,000 bibliographic records, more than 2.3 million item records, and three circulation transactions per second during peak production.
