Ex Libris Sorbonne University selects Ex Libris Alma and Primo. Ex Libris, a ProQuest company, announced that Sorbonne University has selected the Ex Libris Alma library services platform and Ex Libris Primo discovery and delivery solution as part of a drive to improve library services. The new system will simplify workflows for library staff and patrons and automate many key tasks, giving staff members more time to develop innovative services and support patrons from any location. EBSCO Information Services Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi Sees Measurable results two years after EBSCO Discovery Service and SirsiDynix Implementation. It has been two years since the launch of EBSCO Discovery Service and SirsiDynix for Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi and the university reports its usage of resources has maintained a steady increase during that time. When the university first looked at discovery services they considered many options but chose EDS and SirsiDynix to optimize and increase use of the libraryís collection--which includes 23 databases and 80,000 e-books. Ensuring a good return on investments was a priority for the university and now they can see their decision to go with EDS and SirsiDynix was the right one. [Full Announcement].

Ex Libris Paris 1 -- Pantheon Sorbonne University chooses ALEPH 500, MetaLib and SFX. Ex Libris announced that the Paris 1 Ė Pantheon Sorbonne University has chosen the ALEPH 500 Integrated Library System, the MetaLib portal, and the SFX link resolver to build the institutionís new library network information system. The ALEPH 500 system will replace the institutionís current Geac-Advance, C2, Winisis, Isis/dos systems. [Full Announcement].
