San Diego Public Library will provide SchoolRooms Learning Portal to San Diego Citizens. SirsiDynix announced that San Diego Public Library, with funding provided by the California State Library, has purchased the SchoolRooms Web-based learning portal. The library will make this resource available to all residents of San Diego, the eighth largest U.S. city. SchoolRooms users, including students, parents and teachers, will have access to thousands of online educational resources organized around school curriculum. The City of San Diego Public Library launched its One-Search federated search solution enabling patrons to search the Library's vast catalog resources and 73 online databases simultaneously with a single intuitive interface. SDPL One-Search, powered by WebFeat, will be available to the public at the Central Library and all 34 branch libraries located throughout San Diego.
