Equinox welcomes the Rosenbach Museum and Library to Koha ILS with the Philadelphia Area Consortium of Special Collection Libraries. Equinox Open Library Initiative announced the migration of the Rosenbach Museum and Library to Koha ILS as part of their membership with the Philadelphia Area Consortium of Special Collection Libraries. The Rosenbach Museum and Library was founded in 1954 with a mission to celebrate the art of the written word. In 2013, they became affiliated with the Free Library of Philadelphia Foundation. Their migration to Koha included 3,365 bibliographic records and 3,366 item records. Equinox provided implementation, hosting, support, and training services as part of the migration process. Philadelphia Area Consortium of Special Collections Libraries selects Ex Libris' ALEPH ASP. Ex Libris announced that the Philadelphia Area Consortium Special Collections Libraries has chosen ALEPH 500 as its integrated library system ASP solution. The PACSCL consortium is comprised of 28 member libraries with collections that include over 3,000,000 rare books, 200,000 linear feet of manuscripts and archival material, and 9,000,000 works of art on paper. The six participating members that will be migrating to ALEPH represent some of Philadelphia''s landmark research libraries and museums and include The Athenaeum of Philadelphia, The Library Company of Philadelphia, The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, The Philadelphia Museum of Art, The Rosenbach Museum and Library, and The Wagner Free Institute of Science.
