Lyngsoe Systems Queens Library awards largest AMH contract to Lyngsoe Systems, Inc.. Queens Library recently awarded Lyngsoe Systems, Inc., the largest single Automated Materials Handling contract for libraries in North America. Queens Library, with the highest circulation of any public library system in the US and over 60 branches, will implement more than 100 Patron return units and sorting systems over the next few years. With public usage expected to increase and staff growth to remain unchanged, the addition of the AMH systems decreases the time it takes an item to return to shelf while allowing library staff to focus on its high-level of customer service. Libramation. New York City chooses Libramation as RFID Supplier. Libramation announced that the City of New York has awarded the contract for RFID equipment to be installed at the Queens Borough Public Library Branches to Libramation. This includes RFID antennas for circulation as well as RFID security gates. [Full Announcement].

The Library Corporation Libraries dive into AquaBrowser Library. In a very short time, AquaBrowser Library has intrigued libraries and schools throughout the country. Sixteen libraries and schools have purchased AquaBrowser Library in the past six months, including the recent purchase by Queens Borough Public Library in New York. [Full Announcement].
