Ex Libris National Library of Medicine migrates to Ex Libris Alma platform and Primo solution. Ex Libris, a ProQuest company, announced that the National Library of Medicine has selected the Ex Libris Alma® library services platform and Ex Libris Primo discovery and delivery solution to replace the institution’s Ex Libris Voyager integrated library system (ILS) and the WebVoyage online public access catalog. Ex Libris National Library of Medicine selects Ex Libris Primo discovery and delivery solution. Ex Libris announced that the U.S. National Library of Medicine has decided to adopt the Ex Libris Primo discovery and delivery solution. An NLM working group evaluated a number of options and ultimately selected Primo, primarily because of its advanced technology, extensive road map, and active customer communities. The Primo solution will replace Ex Libris WebVoyage Classic, known as LocatorPlus, which enables NLM users to search the Library’s collections. [Full Announcement].

The Library Corporation National Library of Medicine chooses TLC's Library.Request to enable interlibrary loans via ISO 10160/10161 Version 2 protocol: more than 3,000 medical libraries to benefit from installation of TLC's technology. The National Library of Medicine, the world’s largest medical library, announced it has contracted for the installation of a customized version of The Library Corporation’s Library.Request to provide Interlibrary Loan Management via ISO 10160/10161 Version 2 Protocol.
