CARL.Connect expands to the Los Angeles Public Library and the Metropolitan Library System. The Library Corporation has announced that the Los Angeles Public Library and the Metropolitan Library System of Oklahoma City have purchased CARL.Connect, TLC’s newest integrated library systems product. These libraries will join the Monroe County Library System in New York and the Contra Costa County Library in California, who have implemented CARL.Connect for providing a flexible, platform independent solution to their staff functions. Metropolitan Library System Implements CARL.X. The Metropolitan Library System of Oklahoma City, introduced the CARL.X ILS live to their community and staff on September 2nd. MLS selected TLC’s CARL.X for their library automation needs after previously using a system that had been developed in-house. [Full Announcement].

CARL.X selected as the next generation ILS by Metropolitan Library System. The Library Corporation announced the Metropolitan Library System of Oklahoma City will be joining the CARL.X customer base. MLS selected CARL.X as their next Integrated Library System in December 2013. With this move, MLS will enjoy the flexible, adaptable and cutting edge CARL.X technologies and collaborations that are currently in use by some of the industry’s largest and forwarding thinking libraries in the United States and beyond. Integrated Technology Group. ITG Implements 21-Bin Sorting System to Work in Conjunction with Library's Custom Designed Integrated Library System. The Metropolitan Library System of Oklahoma County is installing a 21-bin automated materials handing sorting system from the Integrated Technology Group, a division of Vernon Library Supplies, Inc. The automated materials handing system will work in conjunction with the library's custom designed RFID integrated library system, developed by the deputy executive director/technology, Jim Welch.
