SirsiDynix Merrimack Valley Library Consortium rejoins the SirsiDynix family. The Merrimack Valley Library Consortium is one of the newest members of the SirsiDynix family. Formerly a Horizon library, MVLC spent the last few years as an Open Source customer. However, in early 2017 they chose to rejoin the SirsiDynix family and become a Symphony library on the Enterprise discovery system. Merrimack Valley Library Consortium went live with Enterprise earlier this year. [Full Announcement].

epixtech, inc.. Merrimack Valley Library Consortium migrates to epixtech's Horizon. The Merrimack Valley Library Consortium, which serves 36 public libraries in northeastern Massachusetts, has chosen epixtech''s Horizon system to automate its many libraries. Merrimack Valley Library Consortium serves a wide range of public libraries from very large public libraries with a wide range of programs and circulation, to small public libraries that serve the quaint coastal towns of northern Massachusetts. The libraries will use the Horizon system for many services including renewals, hold requests, interlibrary requests, reviewing borrower information and borrower account review. [Full Announcement].

Infor Library and Information Solutions Eighteen libraries install Geac's Web-based catalog. GeoWeb, the Web-based Public Access Catalog available from Geac Computers, Inc., has been installed in 18 North American libraries during the past few months. GeoWeb is the public access solution available with Geac's ADVANCE and PLUS client/server library systems, and supports "Virtual Catalog" implementations from multiple library system vendors.
