Ex Libris Kansas State University Libraries select Ex Libris Alma. Ex Libris announced that Kansas State University has selected the Ex Libris Alma library management solution. Replacing multiple systems including Ex Libris Voyager, Alma will streamline operations at K-State Libraries by providing a cloud-based, open, and unified platform for all collections, that integrates smoothly with both external campus systems and the Libraries’ Ex Libris Primo discovery [Full Announcement].

Endeavor Information Systems, Inc.. Newly-released Endeavor Meridian already in implementation at 17 libraries. Endeavor Information Systems announced that 17 libraries are currently in the process of implementing Endeavor Meridian, the electronic resource management system which entered general release on June 1st. Endeavor Information Systems announced that it is working with Kansas State University to develop a premium content gateway between the Virage, Inc. rich media software for managing video and related media assets and Endeavor''s ENCompass digital system for managing, searching and linking collections. Endeavor Information Systems announced today that the ENCompass digital management system has been purchased by and delivered to a total of 17 institutions. Endeavor Information Systems, Inc.. Endeavor announces commercial release of ENCompass: digital organization and management tool reinvents total resource discovery. Endeavor Information Systems announced the first commercial shipments of the ENCompass digital library management system. ENCompass was delivered to three additional customer sites around the country. Already in place at three development partner sites, ENCompass now provides even more academic and research libraries around the world integrated access to their print, electronic and digital collections, including local and remote electronic databases and local digital collections. Endeavor Information Systems announced Kansas State University has purchased the ENCompass digital collection management system to build and organize the University''s digital projects. Endeavor Information Systems, Inc.. Endeavor and HARRASSOWITZ are first to implement UN/EDIFACT for serials. Kansas State University Library became the first university library in the world to successfully load EDI invoices for serials using UN/EDIFACT (the international standard for electronic data interchange). The library automation industry has long awaited EDIFACT for serials. This implementation was a joint development initiative between Harrawwowitz and Endeavor Information Systems. Endeavor Information Systems, Inc.. Kansas State University rejects the one-size-fits-all philosophy of library automation. Kansas State University signed a contract with Endeavor Information Systems in late May to implement Endeavor's Voyager 3 to replace thier NOTIS system. [Full Announcement].

Kansas State University Library signs to purchase Voyager 3.0 from Endeavor Information Systems Inc after a competitive bidding process. Voyager will be replacing a NOTIS system. Brice G.
