The Center for Research Libraries and Johns Hopkins Libraries are pleased to announce that Johns Hopkins University recently became a full-voting member of the Center for Research Libraries, a partnership of more than 200 university, college, and independent research libraries. EBSCO Information Services EBSCO Information Services announces four winners for the second round of the EBSCO FOLIO Innovation Challenge. EBSCO Information Service is providing grants to four academic libraries as part of the EBSCO FOLIO Innovation Challenge. The grant program is awarding up to $100,000 in grants to libraries to develop innovative technology solutions that address the challenges academic libraries face. The second roundís winning proposals came from the University of Alabama, the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign, the Johns Hopkins University and Lehigh University. [Full Announcement].

Ex Libris Ex Libris SFX Sites upgrade with MetaLib. Ex Libris announced the recent decision of four Association of Research Libraries to upgrade from their existing SFX systems to the combined MetaLib/SFX solution. These four sites: Johns Hopkins University, Carnegie-Mellon University, North Carolina State University, and the University of Chicago have previously run SFX in a stand-alone mode as their institutional link-resolver. Dynix. Dynix launches development of fully integrated ERM solution. Dynix announced development of a full-featured Electronic Resource Management module. During the initial stages of development, Dynix has worked closely with staff from two large Academic Research Libraries, Johns Hopkins University and the University of Chicago, to identify the requirements of what will be the most comprehensive ERM solution available to libraries.
