Unique Management Services Jefferson County Public Library adds phone support from Unique Management Services to enhance service for patrons. The Jefferson County Public Library in Colorado recently partnered with Unique Management Services to provide additional phone support via expanded hours. Support includes the ability to help with patron account questions along with any of the programs and services available through the Jeffco including online learning tools, e-materials, and community events. Innovative Interfaces, Inc. Decision Center Launches at Public and Academic Libraries. Innovative announced that Decision Center, a new collection-management solution that provides actionable recommendations to libraries, has been implemented at several libraries including Jefferson County Public Library; Tulsa City-County Library; and University of Nebraska, Lincoln. Decision Center's key features include showing library staff where to weed or expand collections, providing guidance for effective spending and staffing, optimizing collections to reflect community demand and usage, and maximizing item-availability for faster service. Innovative Interfaces, Inc. Early agreements for the Sierra services platform announced. Innovative announced that 25 leading academic and public libraries have entered into agreements to be partners in or early implementers of the company's Sierra development initiative. Included in the group are collaborating institutions such as Central Arkansas Library System (AR), Council Bluffs Public Library (IA), Gardner-Webb University (NC), The George Washington University Law School (DC), Greene County Public Library (OH), Grinnell College (IA), Hillsdale College (MI), Hope College (MI), Indianhead Federated Library System (WI), Jefferson County Public Library (CO), Lafayette College (PA), London Public Library (Canada), Marquette University (WI), Mentor Public Library (OH), Michigan State University (MI), Middle Country Public Library (NY), Texas Southern University Law (TX), University of Nebraska-Lincoln (NE), University of Notre Dame Law School (IN), Wright State University (OH), and Lillian Goldman Law Library at Yale Law School (CT). Innovative Interfaces, Inc. Second wave of partners join Encore development. Innovative announced that the Jefferson County Public Library (CO), Miami University (OH), University of Western Ontario (Canada), and Wright State University (OH) have joined with the company as development partners for Encore, the new library services platform that unites content, community and discovery. Bibliotheca Bibliotheca partners with Colorado's second largest library system to provide RFID technology. Bibliotheca RFID Library Systems has partnered with Jefferson County Public Library to provide RFID conversion of its entire floating collection of more than one million items, which circulate through its ten libraries and a Bookmobile.
