Indiana State University. Academic and public libraries in Indiana will implemented shared Millennium ILS. Libraries of Indiana State University, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and St. Mary-of-the-Woods College have joined forces with Vigo County Public Library to integrate their search systems and allow users to simultaneously search each of the library's holdings. The agreement creates the first academic and public consortium in Indiana and is only one of a handful in the United States. The three schools of higher education have shared an integrated library system for 11 years, but this marks the first public partner in the consortium. Indiana State signed a contract on Wednesday, Jan. 27, with Innovative Interfaces Inc., to provide the new integrated library system. The new system should be in place in August. Endeavor Information Systems, Inc.. ENCompass user list grows: in place at 17 institutions. Endeavor Information Systems announced today that the ENCompass digital management system has been purchased by and delivered to a total of 17 institutions. Only commercially released in March 2001, ENCompass is on a rapid development track and will have its third release, version 2.0, available in early 2002. [Full Announcement].

Endeavor Information Systems, Inc.. Endeavor adds 26 new customers during 2Q98. Endeavor Information Systems announced that 26 new academic and research libraries purchased the Voyager library automation system during the second quarter of 1998. This brings the total number of customer contracts to 154 serving over 284 libraries. [Full Announcement].
