Innovative Interfaces, Inc. Innovative gains momentum in academic market with four new library partners. Innovative Interfaces, a leading global provider of library automation software, today announced four academic institutions have switched to Sierra as their Integrated Library System (ILS) over competitor alternatives. Throughout the United States, the new Innovative library partners include: City Colleges of Chicago in Chicago, Illinois, Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho, Prairie View A & M University in Prairie View, Texas, and Wingate University in Wingate, North Carolina. Innovative Interfaces, Inc. Innovative solution offers significant benefits for Idaho State University. Innovative announced that Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho, has selected the Sierra integrated library system and the Encore Duet discovery layer for the Eli M. Oboler Library and satellite locations. From certificate-level to post-graduate, the libraries at ISU support information needs for a substantial 250 academic programs, serving over 13,000 students. EBSCO Information Services Idaho State University stapt over naar EBSCO Discovery Service. EBSCO Information Services Idaho State University Makes the Switch to EBSCO Discovery Service. Idaho State University Library, a Carnegie-classified doctoral research high institution, has opted to replace Primo Central Total Care with EBSCO Discovery Service from EBSCO Information Services as its discovery solution. Endeavor Information Systems, Inc.. Endeavor adds 26 new customers during 2Q98. Endeavor Information Systems announced that 26 new academic and research libraries purchased the Voyager library automation system during the second quarter of 1998.
