Three more American libraries will go live this week with implementations of AquaBrowser Library – all recent sales made by exclusive US partner, The Library Corporation
AquaBrowser Library is an innovative front-end OPAC that uses a ‘smart' method of associative searching, and offers the user a visual word-cloud that enhances the searching experience by offering new information in a fun package. AquaBrowser Library, developed in the Netherlands is already the OPAC used in over 80% of Dutch public libraries. AquaBrowser Library is an excellent tool for all kinds of libraries, public, academic, or special, and can be implemented in virtually any language.
Both Grayslake PL and Southfield Public Schools are new customers of The Library Corporation. They will both be implementing the Library.Solution ILS in a matter of days. Carroll County Public Library uses Dynix's Horizon ILS – but since AquaBrowser Library as an interface is compatible with any integrated library system it connects quickly and runs perfectly.
The Library Corporation has sold over 30 implementations to US libraries since June 2005 under the exclusive agreement with Medialab Solutions, creators of AquaBrowser Library, to distribute the product to any library in North America.
