TIND Center for Research Libraries goes live on TIND ILS for Print Archives Preservation Registry. The Center for Research Libraries has launched its new Print Archives Preservation Registry on the TIND ILS platform, completing the second of three TIND systems now in production at CRL. The new PAPR serves as a modern, hosted data lake, replacing CRL's locally built infrastructure with a scalable environment for aggregating and analyzing collective print holdings and bibliographic data contributed by more than 200 member libraries. TIND The Center for Research Libraries selects TIND ILS. The Center for Research Libraries (CRL) has selected the TIND Integrated Library System (TIND ILS) to manage its vast collection and enhance services for over 200 member institutions. After two years on the FOLIO platform, CRL is migrating to TIND ILS for its powerful search features, efficient workflows, and support for batch processing. [Full Announcement].

Center for Research Libraries CRL Implements New Library Service Platform and Catalog. CRL is pleased to announce that it is implementing FOLIO as its new library services platform. FOLIO is a community driven, open-source platform that supports traditional library operations and positions us for greater community collaboration around knowledge management. CRL chose FOLIO because it is tightly aligned with CRL's core values of open infrastructure and responsible operations. Joining the FOLIO community creates opportunities for CRL to better serve its members and partners through active engagement in future library initiatives that build a better knowledge infrastructure. OCLC OCLC and CRL enhance infrastructure to manage shared print serials in WorldCat. OCLC and the Center for Research Libraries have completed a two-year project that has added support for the registration of serial retention commitments in OCLC's WorldCat database, improved discovery of shared print data, and enhanced CRL's Print Archives Preservation Registry (PAPR). The expanded functionality is a significant step forward in collectively managing the preservation of the scholarly record for future generations. [Full Announcement].
