Zepheira. Boston University Libraries choose Zepheira to convert catalog to linked data, opening it to the web. Zepheira has signed Boston University to its Early Adopter for Academic Libraries Linked Data service. BU is now working with Zepheira to convert its MARC catalog of over 3,000,000 records into Linked Data and publish it to the Web to increase the visibility of the library’s resources. Ex Libris Boston University Libraries go live with Ex Libris Alma. Ex Libris announced that Boston University Libraries, a member of the Association of Research Libraries, has gone live with the Ex Libris Alma next-generation resource management solution. An early adopter of Alma, BU Libraries collaborated closely with Ex Libris to deliver a successful and seamless transition to the cloud-based service. Alma replaces the Innovative Interfaces Millennium library system. [Full Announcement].

Ex Libris Research Libraries in North America Continue to Select Ex Libris Primo with the Primo Central Index. Ex Libris announced that the North American Primo community is continuing to expand rapidly, with the addition of numerous research institutions that have opted for locally hosted or cloud-based implementations of the Primo discovery and delivery solution. Academic institutions in North America that have recently selected Primo and the Primo Central Index include Boston University, Purdue University, Texas A&M University, Texas Woman’s University, Tulane University, University of Alberta, University of Kansas, University of Texas at Dallas, and Virginia Commonwealth University.
