Skilltype Skilltype raises $1.75 million to future-proof libraries globally. Skilltype, the talent management platform for libraries, announces that it has raised $1.75M to future-proof libraries globally. Skilltype has raised $1.7 million in seed financing, led again by Pearl Fund, with participation from the Ruthless for Good Fund, Revelry Venture Partners and Manifold Group. In addition, we are bringing in our first strategic investor with the addition of Technology from SAGE, a portfolio of digital services from SAGE Publishing that improve the patron workflow. Skilltype University of Kentucky Libraries signs multi-year agreement with Skilltype. The University of Kentucky Libraries have entered into a multi-year agreement with Skilltype for talent management across their seven branch library system, marking the 17th member of the association of research libraries to adopt Skilltype since 2020.
