New Deputy Executive Director at RLUK. RLUK announced that William Nixon, currently Assistant Director (Academic Engagement and Digital Library) at the University of Glasgow Library, will be joining RLUK as its new Deputy Executive Director. William brings to the role a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing research libraries, as well as a long-standing commitment to finding cooperative national and international solutions to shared problems. As a past chair of the Open Repositories Steering Committee and current board member of both SPARC Europe and COAR he brings particular expertise in open research. He has also served as co-convener for RLUK's Associate Directors Network, as well as Chair of our Digital Shift Working Group. [Full Announcement].
