PTFS awarded contract to modernize collection management at US Army Heritage and Education Center. Progressive Technology Federal Systems announced it has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center at the Army War College to implement its Knowvation Content Services Platform as AHEC's new Collection Management System. This award marks a return to Carlisle Barracks for PTFS, which previously supported AHEC from 2002 to 2012. The new CMS will provide a robust, user-centric platform for managing and accessing AHEC's extensive archival collections, including manuscripts, photographs, films, sound recordings, and educational materials. Knowvation CSP will deliver advanced capabilities such as AI-powered search, geospatial tagging, and full lifecycle tracking of archival materials—from acquisition through deaccession. LibLime Welcomes Five New Libraries to the Bibliovation 7.4 Platform. LibLime welcomed five new libraries to the LibLime customer family as their migrations to Bibliovation 7.4 have concluded successfully. All five of these libraries serve different communities in Germany, with four of them providing traditional public library services while the fifth is a medical library. The first library serves a community in Ansbach; the second library is located in Baumholder; the third library supports users in Hohenfels; the fourth library is in downtown Kaiserlautern; and the fifth library is utilized by citizens from Landstuhl. All five libraries went live on Bibliovation 7.4 over the summer. The combined implementations were completed in ninety days under the guise of a LibLime PMP-certified project manager and all libraries now rely on the workflows and functionality that covers multi-branch libraries in a single system as well as family group borrowing policies. The implementations covered full data migrations, system configurations, and multiple training sessions for both library management and library line staff. Three public libraries begin using Bibliovation 7.0 in production. Three federal government public libraries have gone live using a hosted offering of the Bibliovation 7.0 Library Services Platform. One library is in Illinois, one in Louisiana, and one in Washington. These three institutions are now using Bibliovation 7.0 to manage physical and electronic resources as they serve their respective communities. The migration for all three libraries took place during the early summer and all three went in the first weeks of August. The library staffs are now enjoying the benefits of a 100% browser-based library management solution in a FedRAMP-certified hosting facility. Two federal government libraries with a shared mission – one in Virginia and one in Texas — have joined to form a union catalog and have gone live using the Bibliovation 7.0 Library Services Platform. These two libraries will be using Bibliovation 7.0 to manage physical and electronic resources as they serve their respective communities. The bibliographic records of both libraries were merged and deduplicated to form this shared catalog and both libraries are now enjoying the benefits of a 100% browser-based solution.
