Lyngsoe Systems announces User Group. Following consultation with customers, Lyngsoe Systems announces the launch of a User Group for the Library Business Unit. Staff from any library that uses any of Lyngsoe Systems (now including PV Supa and 2CQR) products or services will be able to join the group and participate in events and meetings of the group. The launch of the group includes access to a group platform where customers will be able to share their experience of working with Lyngsoe products and services with each other and with Lyngsoe Systems. Queens Library awards largest AMH contract to Lyngsoe Systems, Inc.. Queens Library recently awarded Lyngsoe Systems, Inc., the largest single Automated Materials Handling contract for libraries in North America. Queens Library, with the highest circulation of any public library system in the US and over 60 branches, will implement more than 100 Patron return units and sorting systems over the next few years. With public usage expected to increase and staff growth to remain unchanged, the addition of the AMH systems decreases the time it takes an item to return to shelf while allowing library staff to focus on its high-level of customer service. World's first LM500 installed at Hedberg Public Library. Hedburg Public Library located in Janesville, Wisconsin has gone live with the world's first LM500 Lyngsoe SortMate system. This new design has been accepted with open arms from the library, whose circulation is 1 million yearly, and has exceeded expectations in regards to performance and appearance. King County Study: Automated Material Handling (AMH) Lowers Costs Significantly- even without RFID. King County Library System, which has the second highest circulation of any public library system in the US, recently added another Automated Material Handling system to its existing network. With twelve barcode-based Lyngsoe Systems AMH systems currently in operation (three additional planned in the upcoming year) and an automated sort center for interlibrary distribution, KCLS remains at the forefront of AMH implementation.
