(Follett) Two years after introducing its book fair business, Follett is launching Follett Book eFairs, an innovative approach to reimagining the classroom book-ordering process. Follett Book eFairs allow teachers to create an online book order in less than five minutes, make custom recommendations for students, and easily communicate with parents. Significantly, eFairs also will streamline the payment process by eliminating the need for teachers to handle cash or checks and paper order forms.

(Follett) With newly added opportunities for PreK-12 schools and districts to win prizes, the Follett Challenge today launched its ninth annual contest that rewards innovative educational programs teaching 21st century skills to students. For 2020, the Follett Challenge is significantly increasing the number of semifinalists to nine, from which the grand prize winner will be selected.Follett again will reward a total of $200,000 (USD) in products and/or services to groundbreaking educational programs that illustrate critical thinking, communication, creativity and collaboration. All public and private K-12 schools/districts in the United States, Canada, and Australia are eligible to apply. The 2019 contest marked the first time a school or district from outside the United States claimed the grand prize when Regina Catholic School Division in Saskatchewan, Canada, earned the honor.

(Follett) Nearly two years after introducing Collections by Destiny, Follett is reporting a total of 2.5 million users, a dramatic increase in usage of the educational tool that allows librarians, teachers and curriculum staff to share free or purchased resources across the district, schools or between users. Now in use by more than 4,000 districts and nearly 17,000 schools, usage of Collections by Destiny has increased 62 percent from year one to the 2018-19 school year.
