GGU will work closely with EBSCO Information Services' FOLIO Implementation teams to get the open-source LSP up and running by late Spring 2025. FOLIO can be integrated with external applications, and EBSCO will assist GGU in integrating FOLIO with the library's new and existing collections and services. To improve the end-user search experience, EBSCO Discovery Service and OpenAthens ensure seamless accessibility and discovery of the library's resources. Stanford University adopts FOLIO library services platform. Stanford University recently adopted the FOLIO library services platform for the essential functions of acquiring, describing, and providing access to library collections. embracing FOLIO's promise of flexibility, efficiency, and community-driven product development. Stanford's FOLIO upgrade marks the first time Stanford has migrated to a new library services platform in over 20 years. To move from two separate legacy software systems to FOLIO, Stanford's Library Systems team migrated bibliographic and holdings data for over 12 million library items, along with data for orders, patrons, loans, and requests. Stanford's Digital Library Systems and Services team developed several integrations between FOLIO and other systems, including Stanford's Searchworks discovery layer and a custom internal tool for managing vendor-supplied bibliographic data. Index Data applauds Linköping University Library's successful FOLIO implementation. Index Data announced that Linköping University Library in Sweden has gone live with FOLIO. Linköping University has been part of the FOLIO Community for a number of years and has worked on its migration for months, culminating in a go-live on July 24, 2023. Staff at Linköping University Library began the process by analyzing FOLIO's functionality and workflows. This included mapping local library workflows to the features offered by FOLIO apps, enabling efficient resource management and improved user experiences, and mapping existing data to the data structure in FOLIO. Crucial was an outstanding collaboration with the University's IT department. Linköping University Library contacted Index Data to provide support and expertise in a number of areas, including advice and best practices regarding technical infrastructure troubleshooting and upgrades.
