Libraries can now provide researchers with access to a distinctive musical archive spanning more than twenty years and encompassing everything from classical traditions to contemporary popular music. Available through EBSCO Information Services, Music Index Archive offers indexing for 480 journals and magazines, originally published by Harmonie Park Press and featuring international content from dozens of countries. The Music Index Archive includes works from notable university presses and music societies & associations. EBSCO Information Services Library Staff Development Award is accepting nominations. Nominations are now open for the EBSCO Information Services Library Staff Development Award. The award is given to a library organization that demonstrates the greatest merit for a program of staff development designed to further the goals and objectives of the organization. This award is sponsored by EBSCO. The winner receives a $3,500 and a framed citation of achievement that is given at the ALA Awards Ceremony at the 2026 ALA's Annual Conference, in Chicago, IL. Submissions now open for the 2026 John Cotton Dana Awards. The American Library Association Core Division is now accepting submissions for the 2026 John Cotton Dana Award, one of the most prestigious honors in library public relations. For eight decades, this award has recognized outstanding achievements in library marketing and communications. The $10,000 awards will be provided by the H.W. EBSCO Information Services opens submissions for the 2026 EBSCO Solar Grant. Submissions are now open for the 2026 EBSCO Solar grant program from EBSCO Information Services. Entering its eleventh year, EBSCO continues its commitment to sustainability by offering grants that fund solar installations at libraries around the world. As part of the 2026 EBSCO Solar initiative, EBSCO will award a total of $300,000 in grants to help libraries reduce energy costs and highlight the benefits of renewable energy. EBSCO User Group 2026: Call for proposals deadline extended. EBSCO Information Services has extended the deadline for EBSCO User Group 2026 session proposals to Dec. 1, 2025, giving North American academic library professionals additional time to share their ideas, innovations and stories. Held May 5–8, 2026, in Omaha, Nebraska, this year's program will offer three full days of peer-to-peer learning, integrated FOLIO tracks, in-depth workshops and networking opportunities. EBSCO is also evolving the event format based on attendee feedback. Alongside Standard and Panel Presentations, the conference is now accepting proposals for Innovation Sessions, a lightning-round format featuring 10-minute, targeted talks with a combined Q&A at the end of each series. EBSCO eBooks & OASIS/Rialto Update & FAQ. Clarivate/ProQuest announced they will stop supporting new sales of perpetual books on June 30, 2026. As such, we have made the decision to discontinue EBSCO eBooks participation in Clarivate's OASIS and Rialto platforms as of June 30, 2026. We see our fundamental role as supporting, cultivating, and enabling a thriving scholarly environment, one where libraries have confidence in the sustainability of their collections, and where publishers of every size can bring forward the scholarship that fuels progress in a sustainable way. Heritage University Becomes Washington's First Academic Library to Use EBSCO-Hosted FOLIO. After more than a decade on its legacy system, Heritage University's Donald K. C. North Library will implement FOLIO as its next-generation library services platform, with implementation and hosting support from EBSCO Information Services.
