Utah Valley Entrepreneurial Forum. Eyring Research Institute Inducted into UVEF Hall of Fame. The Utah Valley Entrepreneurial Forum inducted the Eyring Research Institute into its UVEF Hall of Fame. Inductees represent individuals and organizations with an enduring legacy of entrepreneurial excellence. The Eyring Research Institute was founded in 1972 by Carlyle Harmon with Dr. Ronald G. Hansen as President. The Institute did consulting work in various areas of contract research in cooperation with Brigham Young University. ERI spawned many high-tech spin-offs, including WordPerfect, Novell, and Dynix, as well as advancements in the military and communication arenas that have benefited the world. These breakthroughs created a whirlwind of innovation and entrepreneurial activity in Utah Valley affecting Utah for decades. [Full Announcement].

Dynix. Three more New Zealand Libraries Upgrade from Dynix to Horizon. Dynix announced that Nelson Public Libraries, Palmerston North City Library, and Waitomo Public Library, all in New Zealand, have selected Horizon to replace their existing Dynix integrated library systems. [Full Announcement].

Dynix. Australian Dynix customers continue to choose migration path. Dynix announced that Bunbury Public Libraries and Port Pirie Public Library, both in Australia, are to migrate from the Dynix ILS to Horizon. [Full Announcement].

Dynix. Leading Australian Tropical Research University goes live with Horizon. Dynix announced that James Cook University inNorthern Queensland, Australia''s leading tropical research University, has recently gone live with the Horizon Integrated Library System. [Full Announcement].

Dynix. Eight Jordanian Universities to Implement Corinthian 8.0. Dynix announced that a consortium of eight universities in Jordan have selected a comprehensive suite of integrated library management software from Dynix for their libraries. [Full Announcement].

Dynix. Dynix releases Horizon 7.4 and Horizon Information Portal 4.0. Dynix announced the general availability of Horizon 7.4 and Horizon Information Portal 4.0. Dynix. New Brunswick Legislative Library selects Horizon. Dynix announced that the New Brunswick Legislative Library in Fredericton, NB will move to the Horizon Integrated Library System. [Full Announcement].

Dynix. Dynix announces OEM partnership with Cymphonix Corporation to deliver LiveNetwork. Dynix announced a partnership with Cymphonix, Inc the premiere provider of network management solutions for business, government, and educational institutions in the United States. Through the partnership, Dynix is introducing LiveNetwork, a managed service offering through which libraries will gain unprecedented levels of control in administering their computer networks. Dynix. Migrations Continue for Dynix UK Public Libraries. Dynix announced that Bracknell Forest Borough Council and East Dunbartonshire Council have made the decision to migrate to the Horizon Integrated Library System. [Full Announcement].

Dynix. Dynix announces Corinthian ILS for academic libraries. Dynix announced the launch of Corinthian Integrated Library System, a fourth-generation ILS designed specifically for academic and research libraries. Corinthian incorporates the latest library automation technologies and securely integrates with network services and applications in a modern, enterprise system. [Full Announcement].

Dynix. Dynix appoints library industry veteran as VP of Academic Solutions. Dynix announced the appointment of Marc Roberson as the company''s new vice president of academic solutions. In his new position, Roberson will direct the company''s Academic Solutions Group and oversee the launch of Corinthian to academic and research libraries worldwide. The company also announced the arrival of Sandy Piver to the Dynix Academic Solutions Group. Piver arrives at Dynix with more than 15 years of experience in sales management, including seven years spent as a regional sales manager for Endeavor Information Systems. [Full Announcement].

Dynix. Dynix and TAGSYS join forces to raise standard of service in RFID automation. Dynix and TAGSYS, Inc., an independent supplier of item-level RFID hardware, announced an alliance designed to provide a new standard of service and expertise in RFID) technology for libraries. Through the alliance, Dynix has launched Dynix RFID and Self-Check, the most complete system for converting libraries from bar code to RFID-automated systems. [Full Announcement].

Dynix. Historic French library chooses Horizon, becomes new Dynix customer. Dynix announced that Arras Public Library in France will migrate from its current Opsys system to the Horizon Integrated Library System. [Full Announcement].

Dynix. Dynix announces new sale to Gatineau Public Library. Dynix announced that Gatineau Public Library in Québec has purchased the Horizon Integrated Library System, leaving its Sirsi multiLIS system of more than 10 years. [Full Announcement].

Dynix. Selection committee for major Ohio Consortium unanimously chooses Horizon. Dynix announced that Southeastern Ohio Library Center headquartered in Caldwell, OH, has signed a contract to migrate to the Horizon Integrated Library System in order to support its 67 member libraries, located in 153 buildings throughout the state. SEO is a branch of the State Library of Ohio and has been a Dynix ILS customer since 1993. [Full Announcement].

Dynix. Dynix announces arrival of new Chief Technology Officer. Dynix, announced the arrival of software veteran Jeff Hagins as chief technology officer. [Full Announcement].

Dynix. Birmingham College of Food, Tourism and Creative Studies moves from Dynix ILS to Horizon. Dynix announced that the Birmingham College of Food, Tourism and Creative Studies will replace its Dynix ILS system of nine years with the Horizon Information Management System. [Full Announcement].

Dynix. Dynix Kicks Off 2005 with Strong Sales in January. Dynix reported a very successful month in January. During the month, Dynix acquired three new customers and undertook five Dynix-to-Horizon migrations. [Full Announcement].
