Features include the delivery of a library’s terms and conditions document as part of the reservation process; the ability to assign a unique loan period to each object and establish buffers between loans for maintenance; a reporting function that captures critical statistics; and ILS library card validation against criteria established by the library. Assabet Interactive. Two more libraries adopt Assabet Interactive's new online Event Calendar, Room Booking, and Museum Pass modules. Assabet Interactive announced that the Rockport Public Library and the Billerica Public Library are the latest to subscribe to the company's full portfolio of online software for public library websites. The libraries are part of a group of almost twenty libraries in New England now using the company's online modules, which include an event calendar with a robust registration system, a room booking system that works closely with the calendar, and a museum pass reservation system. Unlike other systems, the recently developed software is integrated directly into a library's website pages, so that the main navigation is always present for patrons. [Full Announcement].
