(Ex Libris) Ex Libris and the Copyright Licensing Agency announced that they have consolidated their partnership by developing a deeper integration between the Ex Libris Leganto course reading list solution and the CLA Digital Content Store system. The improved connectivity offered by CLA’s new “Request and Content” API will empower Leganto users at higher education institutions (HEIs) across the UK to increase efficiency by communicating directly with the DCS without switching systems.

(Ingram Content Group) Consortium Book Sales and Distribution, one of Ingram Content Group’s distribution brands, announces a new publisher for the Fall 2018 season: National Association for the Education of Young Children. NAEYC will begin distribution with Consortium® on November 3, 2018.

(Lyrasis) The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation recently awarded LYRASIS a $1,200,000 award to support the next stage of community growth and technical development of CollectionSpace. CollectionSpace is the only collections management system led by a nonprofit and designed with input from the community. It offers forward looking features that include mobile-friendly displays, an open application program interface (API), and a multitude of custom profiles for museums and other institutions that hold art, artifact, object, and specimen collections of all types and sizes. This new 3-year award will fund three key areas to further the CollectionSpace build-out: user community expansion, accelerating progress on the technical roadmap and the addition of staff to ensure continued high levels of service.

(OCLC) OCLC is partnering with Taylor & Francis, one of the world's leading academic publishers, to create and deliver high-quality catalog records representing important scholarly works to libraries. As an OCLC cataloging partner, Taylor & Francis will provide published works for OCLC's team of professional catalogers to create high-quality records to be added to WorldCat and delivered to libraries. OCLC will create 7,000 full-level MARC records annually and deliver records through WorldShare Collection Manager to Taylor & Francis global library customers. In addition, OCLC will automatically maintain WorldCat holdings for Taylor & Francis customers with an OCLC Cataloging and Metadata Subscription.
