(Equinox) The King County Library System in the Puget Sound region surrounding Seattle, WA has selected Equinox Software to provide Evergreen ILS consulting services. As part of the arrangement, Equinox Software will install an Evergreen system at KCLS for evaluation and development needs analysis. Equinox is providing services including data translation and loading, software installation and customization, and training and consultation on Evergreen's capabilities and features.

(Innovative Interfaces, Inc.) Innovative Interfaces announced that the King County Library System has selected Millennium as its new integrated library system. This installation includes three Innovative products: Patron Self-Registration, AirPAC, and Basic Ecommerce. With headquarters in Issaquah, Washington, KCLS serves the greater Seattle, WA area. This large system includes 43 branches and serves over one million registered users. They are replacing Dynix Classic software.

The King County Library System (KCLS) includes 42 libraries that serve more than one million residents outside the City of Seattle.
