(OCLC) The University of Winnipeg, a top-ranked university in Canada and a member of the Council of Prairie and Pacific University Libraries, has selected OCLC WorldShare Management Services as its new cloud-based library services platform.

(OCLC) OCLC is partnering with Taylor & Francis, one of the world's leading academic publishers, to create and deliver high-quality catalog records representing important scholarly works to libraries. As an OCLC cataloging partner, Taylor & Francis will provide published works for OCLC's team of professional catalogers to create high-quality records to be added to WorldCat and delivered to libraries. OCLC will create 7,000 full-level MARC records annually and deliver records through WorldShare Collection Manager to Taylor & Francis global library customers. In addition, OCLC will automatically maintain WorldCat holdings for Taylor & Francis customers with an OCLC Cataloging and Metadata Subscription.

(OCLC) King’s College London has selected OCLC Sustainable Collection Services (SCS) to help staff make more data-driven decisions about their print monographs. A research-led institution which is ranked among the top universities in the world, King’s College London comprises six libraries and an off-site storage facility housing 1 million print volumes, 44,000 e-journals and 350,000 e-books. As the demand for library space increases, the staff are having to consider ways in which they can free up space, while also working to adhere to their commitment of growing their physical collections.

(OCLC) OCLC has extended its partnership with the National Library of New Zealand with an agreement to provide more than 200 New Zealand libraries access to WorldShare Interlibrary Loan, which connects thousands of libraries around the world. The addition of WorldShare ILL services complements discovery and metadata workflows already managed through OCLC’s cloud-based WorldShare platform.
