(Voyager Sopris Learning) Voyager Sopris Learning announced the launch of a social movement designed to embolden educators and students to effect change and to believe in the power of literacy. Called “#IAmMore,” the movement gives educators and students a voice, allows them to illustrate what makes them “more,” and to share their untapped potential. As part of the movement’s launch, Voyager Sopris Learning is partnering with WeAreTeachers.

(Ingram Content Group) VitalSource announced today it will simplify courseware integrations by removing barriers to access for students and instructors and streamlining administrative setup for institutions. Beginning this month, VitalSource will pilot these new integrations with Pearson, the largest higher education publisher in North America, offering seamless access to MyLabs, Mastering, and Revel courseware products for students and instructors via a single integration.

(ProQuest) Academic libraries can now search for and acquire SAGE Knowledge content directly through the OASIS platform, ProQuest’s search, selection and ordering system for print and ebooks.

(Civica) Civica, one of Australia’s leading suppliers of critical software applications, digital solutions, and managed services that help transform the way organisations work, today announced that Oberon Council selected Spydus10 to transform its library service delivery to achieve its vision of connected communities.

(Civica) For the third year in a row, the 2018 Civica Libraries Index sees Australian and New Zealanders continuing to thirst for crime and thriller stories, with these titles dominating the list once again. However, people’s desire for trusted independent financial advice has resulted in Scott Pape’s “The Barefoot Investor” dominating the non-fiction category and being the fifth most borrowed book nationwide.

(OCLC) The Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists have selected OCLC's WorldShare Management Services, an integrated suite of cloud-based library management applications.

(Follett) Follett announced its bustling one-year-old book fair business is expanding for the 2018-19 school year to offer fairs focused for early childhood (PreK-1) and middle school (grades 6-8). Follett Book Fairs launched a year ago on a regional basis with fairs designed especially for K-6 and K-8 schools.

(Ex Libris) Ex Libris announced that Italy’s University of Sassari has selected the Ex Libris Alma library services platform to improve the library’s efficiency, support decision-making, and foster collaboration with libraries at the local and international levels. The university has been using the Ex Libris Primo discovery and delivery solution, which will be integrated with the Alma platform.

(Lucidea) Lucidea, provider of CuadraSTAR SKCA and Eloquent Archives, is pleased to announce participation in the 2018 Society of American Archivists (SAA) annual conference happening August 12th through 18th in Washington, DC.

(TIND) TIND was selected by the University of California, Berkeley Law Library to provide their cloud-based Integrated Library System (TIND ILS), replacing Sierra ILS. As part of the implementation, TIND has developed a new acquisitions and serials module in close partnership with the library. The system is launched with GOBI real-time acquisitions and supports payment export to UC Berkeley’s central ERP system. The TIND ILS will also be integrated with EBSCO Discovery Service.

(New York University) New York University Libraries—a leader in digital library development—has announced that Arcadia—a charitable fund of Lisbet Rausing and Peter Baldwin—has made a grant of $1.34 million to support Arabic Collections Online, a major project to create an open access, digital library of public-domain Arabic language content.

(Ingram Content Group) Ingram Publisher Services, an Ingram brand, announces the addition of new illustrated book publisher clients to their distribution network including: Anthology Editions, Trope Reader, Gestalten, and Gingko Press.

(EBSCO Information Services) A new partnership between GOBI Library Solutions from EBSCO, a division of EBSCO Information Services, and ByWater Solutions is aimed at helping Koha libraries. Libraries using the Koha Open Source ILS are now able to use new functionality to streamline the acquisitions process. The GobiAPI Plug-in, which allows Koha systems to fully integrate with the GOBI platform in real-time, will now facilitate the immediate transfer of bibliographic and order data.

(RedLink) RedLink has recently announced the launch of a significant upgrade to its popular usage data analytics system, Publisher Dashboard. Publisher Dashboard helps publishers see what they’re missing by providing intuitive visualizations and powerful tools for analysis of customer online usage, cost, and renewal data.
