(Ex Libris) Ex Libris announced that 13 members of the Österreichische Bibliothekenverbund (Austrian Library Network, or OBV) and the Österreichische Bibliothekenverbund und Service GmbH (Austrian Library Network and Service, or OBVSG), have successfully migrated their federated database to a network zone of the Ex Libris Alma® library services platform. This zone will serve as the cataloging system for all OBV members, including those running the Ex Libris Aleph or Ex Libris Alephino® system, until the latter have migrated to the Alma platform. The migration is expected to be completed in 2021.
(ProQuest) ProQuest has added support for two new Google Scholar features, giving academic researchers round-the-clock access to scholarly full-text articles and graduate works from anywhere in the world.

(The Library Corporation) The Library Corporation announced that The Library Network, a coalition of 50 public libraries in Southeast Michigan, has migrated to TLC’s CARL.X ILS. The Library Network used SirsiDynix Symphony as their ILS for the past 15 years. However, TLC’s success with large library systems—and reputation to treat customers as partners—convinced TLN stakeholders, who unanimously agreed to make TLC their ILS provider for the future.

The platform will enable the university to deliver dynamic, personalized content and apps on smartphones, tablets, and web browsers.
(EBSCO Information Services) EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO) and Modern Language Association (MLA) are working together to create the MLA International Bibliography with Full Text, a definitive research database for the international study of language and literature. Produced by MLA, the MLA International Bibliography with Full Text dates back to the 1920s and contains millions of citations as well as full text for more than 1,000 journals.

(MOBIUS) The MOBIUS Consortium announced that the Riverside Regional Library (MO), went live as a member of the Missouri Evergreen Consortium. The Library is the 39th member to go live on the system and migrated from a standalone TLC Integrated Library System.
(ProQuest) ProQuest has named Oren Beit-Arie as Chief Strategy Officer. After successfully leading Ex Libris strategy, he has assumed a new role overseeing the continuing development and promotion of ProQuest’s long-term enterprise strategy. Working in close partnership with general managers across the company, he will manage a comprehensive product roadmap and support the development and launch of critical initiatives.
(Lyrasis) museums, is pleased to announce the 2018 recipients of the LYRASIS Catalyst Fund. The Catalyst Fund is designed to foster innovation among members and knowledge communities worldwide. This year, six projects were chosen by participants in the LYRASIS Leaders Circle and $155,000 will be awarded. Additionally, LYRASIS will investigate one idea recommended to the Catalyst Fund through a feasibility study.
(SirsiDynix) The Customers of SirsiDynix Users Group conference, COSUGI, took place in April of this year. The opening session was hosted by SirsiDynix executives where the annual “Power of Libraries Awards” were introduced. The recipients of this award were recognized at COSUGI.Earlier this year, SirsiDynix sent out an invitation requesting libraries to submit stories about their inspirational programs that are making a difference in their communities. After reviewing each story, SirsiDynix decided on three different libraries as the recipients of this year’s award—Kenosha Public Library, Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) University Library, and Enoch Pratt Free Library.
