(Ex Libris) Ex Libris announced that the National Library of Poland has selected the Ex Libris Alma library services platform and Primo discovery and delivery solution as key components in the library’s OMNIS e-Service project. Alma and Primo will provide the basis for the library to adopt a unified national approach to library resource management, discovery, and delivery.

(Ex Libris) Ex Libris announced that the University of New Hampshire has chosen the Ex Libris Alma® library services platform and Ex Libris Primo discovery and delivery solution. The UNH Library is the 11th member of the Boston Library Consortium to adopt the Alma and Primo solutions.
(LibLime) LibLime, a Division of PTFS, has been selected by South Central Library System (SCLS) as the winning vendor to implement the Bibliovation Library Services Platform after a lengthy and competitive review of industry LSP’s. LibLime responded to SCLS’s technical requirements with a comprehensive functional response, on-site demonstration and a compelling cost proposal which has resulted in a contract award. LibLime will provide development, migration and continued support services to SCLS. LibLime and PTFS specialists will work closely with SLCS staff to continue to upgrade their current LibLime system.

University librarians and developers and EBSCO Information Services will partner together to establish FOLIO hosting and services in The University of Alabama Libraries, while also optimizing the FOLIO platform for future colleges and universities looking to adopt an open source library services platform.

(Ex Libris) Ex Libris announced that Liberty University has selected the Ex Libris Alma library services platform. Liberty University is the largest private, nonprofit university in the United States and the largest university in Virginia. Alma will be implemented alongside the school’s Summon discovery service. The Alma platform will facilitate the management and delivery of resources and support Summon’s robust patron-facing discovery services.

(Talis) Leeds Beckett University are moving from their existing system, Rebus:List to Talis Aspire, in order to provide enhanced integration with their Library Management System, SirsiDynix Symphony. They will integrate Talis Aspire with their Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) Blackboard, to provide a more seamless experience for students and academics. They also aim to make use of Talis Aspire’s reporting and acquisitions tools in order to streamline library workflows.

(Ex Libris) Ex Libris announced that the Fondazione Biblioteca Europea di Informazione e Cultura (European library of information and culture, or BEIC) has selected the Ex Libris Alma library services platform and Rosetta digital asset management and preservation solution to more effectively manage the resources of BEIC’s digital collections. The BEIC Foundation will be replacing its open source software and migrating its current local installation of the Ex Libris Primo discovery and delivery solution to a cloud-based implementation.
