January 9, 2018

(Pennsylvania Integrated Library System) Pennsylvania Integrated Library System (PaILS), a consortium of Evergreen libraries, saw additional growth in 2017 adding the Bedford County Library System, Memorial Library of Nazareth and Vicinity, Bangor Public Library, Tunkhannock Public Library, Allentown Public Library, Bethlehem Area Public Library, Easton Public Library, and Shamokin Public Library. All of these libraries are now live on SPARK, the PaILS-operated, open source, Evergreen-based ILS. New libraries for 2018 will include the Huntingdon County Library, Potter-Tioga Library System, and 11 public libraries in Lehigh and Carbon Counties. This will bring the total to 122 service outlets. SPARK is hosted by the Equinox Open Library Initiative who also provide migration, consulting, training, and development services.

(The Library Corporation) The Library Corporation announced that the Somerset County Library System of New Jersey has successfully migrated to the fully hosted service model of the CARL.X ILS. SCLSNJ serves over 188k residents within their 15 member communities and circulates close to 3 million items annually. They are looking forward to working with TLC to strengthen the offerings that they provide to their staff and patrons.

December 6, 2017

(Equinox) Equinox announced that Cherokee County Public Library successfully migrated to Evergreen within the SC Lends Consortium. This migration includes more than 32,000 users and over 95,000 bibliographic records. For the migration, Equinox performed the bibliographic data extraction and deduplication, policy configuration, project management and training services. As part of the SC LENDS consortium, Cherokee County Public Library is hosted and supported by Equinox on their industry leading Sequoia platform.

October 31, 2017

(ByWater Solutions) ByWater Solutions announced that the Free Public Library and Cultural Center of Bayonne, NJ. is now live on Koha with ByWater Solutions! ByWater completed the transition of the library’s 200,000 plus holdings from Symphony earlier this year and is providing ongoing support services to the library. The library’s hosting services are provided by Jersey Connect, a program in the state that offers free hosting services to libraries utilizing an open source ILS

(ByWater Solutions) ByWater Solutions announced that the Athens Limestone Public Library, of Athens, AL. is now live on Koha with ByWater Solutions! ByWater completed the transition of the library’s 100,000 plus holdings from Polaris earlier this year and is providing ongoing support and hosting services to the library.

(Equinox) Equinox announced that they have successfully migrated the Tunkhannock Public Library to Evergreen within the PaILS SPARK Consortium.

(SirsiDynix) SirsiDynix announced that LOUIS: The Louisiana Library Network has chosen to implement Enterprise as their new discovery solution. Enterprise will be integrated with LOUIS’s existing solution, EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS), and is enhanced with the addition of Syndetics Enriched Content.

(OCLC) HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, one of the largest universities of applied sciences in the Netherlands, is now using OCLC WorldShare Management Services as its library management system.

(ByWater Solutions) ByWater Solutions announced that the StreamNet Regional Library, of Portland, OR. is now live on Koha with ByWater Solutions! ByWater completed the transition of the library’s 60,000 plus holdings from their self supported Koha installation and is providing ongoing support and hosting services.

(Equinox Open Library Initiative) Equinox announced that Granville County Library System successfully migrated to Evergreen within the NC Cardinal Consortium on May 18, 2017.

(ByWater Solutions) ByWater Solutions announced that the Society of the Four Arts’ King Library, of Palm Beach, FL. is now live on Koha with ByWater Solutions! ByWater completed the migration of the library’s 70,000 plus holdings and is providing ongoing support and hosting services to them.
