(MOBIUS) The MOBIUS Consortium announced that the Mountain View Public Library, (MO), went live as a member of the Missouri Evergreen Consortium. The Library is the 36th member to go live on the system and migrated from a standalone TLC Integrated Library System.

(OCLC) The University of the Basque Country, the public research institution in the Basque Country of Spain, has selected OCLC WorldShare Management Services as its new cloud-based library services platform.

(Ex Libris) Ex Libris, a ProQuest company, announced that the Michigan Shared System Alliance has chosen the Ex Libris Alma library services platform and Ex Libris Primo discovery and delivery solution to enhance collaboration, efficiency, and services for the Alliance’s members. The Alma platform will replace the Innovative Sierra integrated library system at five of the member institutions.

(Ex Libris) Ex Libris announced that the University of Texas of the Permian Basin has selected the Ex Libris Alma library services platform to integrate with the university’s Ex Libris Summon discovery and delivery service. This decision comes as an increasing number of libraries in the University of Texas system elect to use the Alma platform, making it easier for the consortium to work with a standardized and proven technology infrastructure. The Alma-Summon combination will provide strong synergy between the back-office management of resources and patron-facing discovery of, and access to, scholarly resources needed for learning, teaching, and research. The Alma platform will replace the school’s Innovative Interfaces Sierra integrated library system.

(Ex Libris) Ex Libris, a ProQuest company, is pleased to announce that the University of Law has selected the Ex Libris Alma library services platform, Primo discovery and delivery system, and Leganto course reading list solution. The selection was made after the Ex Libris products received positive student feedback during demonstration sessions. Alma will replace the Ex Libris Voyager integrated library system.

(Ex Libris) Ex Libris announced that Florida’s Miami Dade College has chosen the Ex Libris campusM mobile solution to help consolidate information from the college’s learning management system, student information system (SIS), and other campus services and display that information on students’ mobile devices.

(Ex Libris) Ex Libris announced that the Ex Libris Leganto course resource list solution is now live at 45 institutions, providing instructors, students, and librarians with all the functionality needed for creating, maintaining, and using reading lists.

(Sabinet) The National Library of South Africa will reinvest in their local library management practices by moving all library functions to the OCLC WorldShare platform. WorldShare provides a complete set of library management applications and platform services built on an open, cloud-based platform and offers integrated management of library workflows that create new efficiencies as libraries share work, data and resources to save money and deliver value to their users.

(SirsiDynix) Multnomah County Library has finalized a contract with SirsiDynix to implement the company’s Symphony integrated library system. The ILS comprises the backbone of a library’s technology environment, tying together transactions and data about patron checkouts and holds, ordering and cataloging new materials and it powers what patrons see on the library’s website.

(ByWater Solutions) ByWater Solutions, an open source community contributor and America’s forefront provider of Koha support, announced today that the Curry County Library Network, of Curry County, Oregon. is now live on Koha with ByWater Solutions! ByWater completed the transition of the library’s 170,000 plus holdings from TLC to the already existing and ByWater supported Coos County Library System Catalog. The library network’s five libraries joined the Coos County shared catalog, bringing the total number of libraries up to 17 and the total number of combined holdings to over 500,000.

(Private Academic Library Network of Indiana) The Private Academic Library Network of Indiana announced the addition of two institutions, Bethel College and Saint Mary’s College, to the PALNI family. Bethel College and Saint Mary’s College join a highly engaged and collaborative group of private college and seminary libraries across the state bringing the number of supported institutions up to twenty-four. PALNI uses OCLC’s WorldShare Management Services to provide direct, unmediated access to the collective collections of all the institutions without the need to export or import records. OCLC is also continuing development in WMS to support collaboration in analytics, licensing, and more.

(Third Chapter Partners) The Kitchener Public Library, Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, has selected its marketing platform, Patron Point after conducting a multi-vendor Integrated Library System procurement process. This process, for the first time, established requirements specific to library marketing technology functionality as a significant element of the procurement.

(Ex Libris) Ex Libris announced that National Taiwan University has chosen the Ex Libris Alma library services platform to replace the school’s library management system. In addition, NTU’s local implementation of the Ex Libris Primo discovery and delivery solution will be migrated to the cloud and integrated with the Alma platform. Through the software-as-a-service model, the university library services will enjoy benefit from the real-time synchronization and automatic updates of the Alma and Primo software solutions.
