(Ex Libris) Ex Libris announced that National Taiwan University has chosen the Ex Libris Alma library services platform to replace the school’s library management system. In addition, NTU’s local implementation of the Ex Libris Primo discovery and delivery solution will be migrated to the cloud and integrated with the Alma platform. Through the software-as-a-service model, the university library services will enjoy benefit from the real-time synchronization and automatic updates of the Alma and Primo software solutions.

(Ex Libris) Ex Libris and HighPoint Solutions announced a strategic partnership that will provide a student app for the digital-native generation at institutions of higher education. The joint product will deliver consolidated functionality covering administration and student life and will facilitate teaching and learning via users’ mobile phone and, simultaneously, a web portal.

(Ex Libris) Ex Libris announced that the University of Southern Queensland has chosen the Ex Libris Alma library services platform, the Primo discovery and delivery solution, and the Leganto course reading list solution as the university’s next-generation integrated system to serve students, academic staff, and library patrons in the community. USQ selected Alma, Primo, and Leganto primarily for the return on investment that these solutions have demonstrated at customer sites around the world.

(Ex Libris) Ex Libris announced that Scotland’s Robert Gordon University has chosen the Ex Libris Alma library services platform, Primo discovery and delivery solution, and Leganto course reading list solution. These products will be replacing RGU’s legacy software from SirsiDynix, EBSCO, Talis, and Clio.

(Ex Libris) Ex Libris announced that Drexel University has selected the Ex Libris Alma® library services platform to integrate with the university’s Summon discovery and delivery service. The Alma-Summon combination will improve the discovery of and access to scholarly resources needed for learning, teaching, and research. As a single system, Alma will streamline procedures for managing the Libraries’ acquired and licensed electronic and print resources, help the Libraries raise staff productivity significantly, improve workflows, and eliminate data silos. The Alma platform replaces the Innovative Interfaces Millennium integrated library system, which Drexel has used since 1998.

(Ex Libris) Ex Libris announced that the Università degli Studi di Roma "Tor Vergata" (University of Rome Tor Vergata) has now gone live with the company’s Leganto course reading list solution. Along with Tor Vergata’s Ex Libris Alma library services platform and Ex Libris Primo discovery and delivery solution, the Leganto service will provide instructors and students with all the functionality needed for creating, maintaining, and using reading lists.

The university will be taking advantage of Alma’s powerful analytics, streamlined workflows, and unified management of print and electronic resources.

(Ex Libris) Ex Libris announced that the Virginia’s Community Colleges has chosen the Ex Libris Alma library services platform and will integrate it with its statewide implementation of the Ex Libris Primo discovery and delivery solution. Alma will replace the Ex Libris Aleph® integrated library system. The libraries of the nearly two dozen community colleges that constitute the VCCS will have the time-saving benefit of centralized acquisitions and collaborative decision-making.

The campusM app is supports many aspects of student life, in addition to the teaching and learning processes. On many campuses, the app is integrated with wider campus systems such as learning management, student records and administration, and library services.

(Ex Libris) Ex Libris announced that BIBSYS—the agency of the Norwegian Ministry of Education and Research that provides library services to universities and colleges, research institutions, and the National Library—has chosen the Ex Libris LegantoSM reading list solution after an exhaustive tendering process.

(Ex Libris) Ex Libris announced that the Ex Libris Alma library services platform has won a place in the French national Système de gestion de bibliothèque mutualisé library management system framework agreement. The competitive process for the framework and the tenders awarded under it are managed by the Agence bibliographique de l’enseignement supérieur (ABES), the French agency that provides bibliographic services to over 60 percent of French higher education institutions.
