(Ex Libris) Ex Libris announced that the Università degli Studi di Roma "Tor Vergata" (University of Rome Tor Vergata) has now gone live with the company’s Leganto course reading list solution. Along with Tor Vergata’s Ex Libris Alma library services platform and Ex Libris Primo discovery and delivery solution, the Leganto service will provide instructors and students with all the functionality needed for creating, maintaining, and using reading lists.

(Ex Libris) Ex Libris announced that LUISS – Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali Guido Carli is to build its new and enhanced library services on the Ex Libris Alma platform while continuing to work with the Ex Libris Summon discovery solution. The university will be taking advantage of Alma’s powerful analytics, streamlined workflows, and unified management of print and electronic resources.

(Ex Libris) Ex Libris announced that the Virginia’s Community Colleges has chosen the Ex Libris Alma library services platform and will integrate it with its statewide implementation of the Ex Libris Primo discovery and delivery solution. Alma will replace the Ex Libris Aleph® integrated library system. The libraries of the nearly two dozen community colleges that constitute the VCCS will have the time-saving benefit of centralized acquisitions and collaborative decision-making.

The campusM app is supports many aspects of student life, in addition to the teaching and learning processes. On many campuses, the app is integrated with wider campus systems such as learning management, student records and administration, and library services.

(Ex Libris) Ex Libris announced that BIBSYS—the agency of the Norwegian Ministry of Education and Research that provides library services to universities and colleges, research institutions, and the National Library—has chosen the Ex Libris LegantoSM reading list solution after an exhaustive tendering process.

(Ex Libris) Ex Libris announced that the Ex Libris Alma library services platform has won a place in the French national Système de gestion de bibliothèque mutualisé library management system framework agreement. The competitive process for the framework and the tenders awarded under it are managed by the Agence bibliographique de l’enseignement supérieur (ABES), the French agency that provides bibliographic services to over 60 percent of French higher education institutions.

(Ex Libris) Ex Libris to announced that the number of libraries participating in the Ex Libris Alma and Primo implementation at the Washington Research Library Consortium, in Washington, DC, has recently increased to 16.

(Ex Libris) Ex Libris announced that the company is the first in the library industry to achieve ISO 22301:2012 certification. ISO 22301:2012 is the first international standard published by the International Organization for Standardization that focuses exclusively on business continuity management. This Ex Libris certification joins two others awarded to the company—ISO 27001:2013, certification for information security management systems; and ISO/IEC 27018:2014, certification for the protection of personally identifiable information in the cloud computing environment.

(Ex Libris) Ex Libris announced that the Consorcio Madroño has chosen the Ex Libris Alma library services platform and Ex Libris Primo discovery and delivery solution to enhance collaboration, efficiency, and services for the consortium’s members. Alma will replace the SirsiDynix Symphony integrated library system.The six member universities of the Madroño Consortium, all leading institutions in Madrid, had previously used individual, local, on-premises (non-cloud) deployments of the same integrated library system (ILS) and discovery tool.

(Ex Libris) Ex Libris announced that the Bibliothèque Interuniversitaire de Montpellier (BIU, or Interuniversity Library of Montpellier) has chosen the Ex Libris Alma library services platform and the Primo discovery and delivery solution to optimize library management and discovery. Alma and Primo will replace the Aleph integrated library system.

(Ex Libris) Ex Libris announced that the Ex Libris Alma cloud-based library services platform is now the system of choice for one thousand customers. The thousandth institution to select Alma is Carnegie Mellon University, which, like the 999 other Alma institutions, will benefit from the streamlined workflows of a unified SaaS resource management solution. Alma will be replacing the SirsiDynix Symphony integrated library system.

(Ex Libris) Ex Libris announced that the National Kaohsiung University of Applied Sciences (KUAS) has become the first university in Taiwan to choose the Ex Libris Alma® library services platform. Alma and the Ex Libris Primo® discovery and delivery solution will be replacing a number of the library’s current systems, including an integrated library system, electronic resource management system, and discovery system.
