The 24-Hour Library opened in partnership with Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) to provide 24 Hour Public Library Service in the Licking Heights School District. This location will enhance public library service in an area without a close branch, offering a collection of 340 items including books, DVD’s and audiobooks. The 24-Hour Library also offers digital e-books, holds pick-up and returns, and serves as a Wi-Fi Hotspot.

Jodi comes to EnvisionWare from Innovative Interfaces Inc. where she most recently served as Vice President, Customer Support. In this role, Jodi was responsible for global customer service, overseeing support for 9,500 libraries in 66 countries worldwide. Prior to Innovative, Jodi was Vice President of Customer Operations at Polaris Library Systems.

(EnvisionWare) EnvisionWare announced a advancement for libraries using RFID technology. EnvisionWare’s new RFID Tablet Tag is designed to enable libraries to circulate mobile devices securely, including iPads, Androids, and other tablets, as well as e-readers.The Tablet Tag works like a traditional RFID tag used in books and other print materials and can be used for both security and circulation. According to EnvisionWare, the performance is comparable to their standard RFID book tag, which is reported to be approximately 20 percent more effective in read distance and performance than other tags in the library market.
