The resource is a collaboration between Choice and Charleston Advisor, two well-known and highly respected review sources.

(EBSCO Information Services) EBSCO Information Services has formally partnered with StackMap, a digital platform for indoor mapping, so that customers may benefit from StackMap’s integrated services with EBSCO Discovery Service in addition to other catalogs, easing the process of physically locating items in libraries in an effort to enhance the patron experience. StackMap, a library company founded in 2008, looks to empower patrons via indoor collection mapping. This integration with EDS, launched in 2016, allows libraries to help users find print materials within their physical library more effectively. StackMap services also enable users to browse the library’s physical space and resources on a kiosk, tablet or website, as well as locate available computers and study spaces.

Reprints Desk’s award-winning Article Galaxy solution has been integrated with the EDS platform to streamline the discovery-to-delivery user journey for mutual customers.

(EBSCO Information Services) EBSCO Information Services and KnowledgeWare Technologies have expanded their relationship to ensure libraries adopting the FOLIO Library Services Platform (LSP) will be able to rely on hosting and services support. The agreement demonstrates KnowledgeWare Technologies’ commitment to providing FOLIO implementation and support services backed by EBSCO hosting technology and data services. KnowledgeWare Technologies, located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is a pan-Arab systems integration and localization firm that specializes in bilingual (Arabic/English) Information Access Technology (IAT) and provides Open Source services to libraries in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and other countries throughout the Middle East.

(EBSCO Information Services) EBSCO Health, the leading provider of evidence-based clinical information tools including DynaMed Plus, Dynamic Health and Option Grid, has expanded with the acquisition of HealthDecision. HealthDecision is a clinical decision support and shared decision making tool for clinicians and patients at the point of care. The software platform provides decision support tools enabling clinicians and patients to explore their medical options. The resource combines the patient’s healthcare preferences with the clinician’s expertise and syndicates patient-specific medical data with the latest medical guidelines to personalize a patient’s risk analyses.

The John Cotton Dana Award is one of the most prestigious awards given to libraries and honors outstanding library public relations. Eight $10,000 awards will be provided by The H.W. Wilson Foundation in 2019.

(EBSCO Information Services) EBSCO Information Services continues its commitment to helping libraries in their sustainability efforts with the 2019 EBSCO Solar grant program. As part of the EBSCO Solar initiative, EBSCO is soliciting grant applications to give libraries the opportunity to “go green” by funding solar installations. EBSCO will be accepting submissions from both domestic and international libraries.
