Yewno powers better book discovery to top publishers De Gruyter book content now available through Yewno Discover

Redwood City, CA, January 15, 2018 -- Yewno, Inc., a leading provider of AI-driven knowledge discovery solutions, today announces that publishers who use Ingram Content Group services can make book content discoverable over the Yewno platform. De Gruyter now joins Stanford University Press, Brill, and Wiley as publishers with books provided by Ingram and now discoverable through Yewno.

Yewno's technology ingests full text, and can therefore surface parts of books that might be undiscovered in other environments. The tool, aptly named Yewno Discover, is built upon Yewno's core technology, which maps over 600 million semantic connections among concepts extracted from full-text academic resources. Those connections link to over 130 million scholarly articles, books, and database assets – a number that continues to grow every day.

Discover allows researchers and learners to easily and intuitively explore a visual set of connections across a comprehensive research landscape, even in unfamiliar interdisciplinary fields. It is a highly effective method for discovering resources that might have otherwise been overlooked, and ensures that users experience comprehensive and credible coverage on any topic.

"We strive to offer publishers new and innovative ways for end-users to access publisher content. The AI-driven discovery platform we offer through Yewno accomplishes just that, and we are pleased that De Gruyter has chosen to take advantage of this service in order to ensure their unique content is even more discoverable," says Ingram's Vice President, Digital Products, Marcus Woodburn.

"De Gruyter has over 40,000 book titles. Partnership is one of our key values and as a proudly independent, mid-sized, scholarly publisher, we are always on the lookout for partners who complement our expertise and help ensure that scholars find and use our books and journals," adds Ben Ashcroft, Vice President Sales & Marketing at De Gruyter.

Yewno Co-Founder and Chief BD Officer Ruth Pickering agrees, "From our perspective, each publisher that adds high quality content to our platform enriches our users' experience. We are delighted to offer this service to De Gruyter, and to all of Ingram's publisher community."
