Innovative adds time-saving item sort in Mobile Worklists Release 2.7

EMERYVILLE, Calif. — Innovative Interfaces, a leading provider of library automation software that empowers libraries globally, has launched Mobile Worklists Release 2.7 to increase usability and efficiency for library staff through mobile management of items. This release includes the ability to sort lists by key fields, and view additional information on both the Item Detail screen and list view for increased efficiency in finding items and decision making.

Mobile Worklists, a two-time Modern Library Awards winner, is Innovative's iOS app for library staff that makes material handling and management tasks easier and more efficient.

With this release, lists imported to or added within the app after upgrading to Mobile Worklists Release 2.7 can be sorted by the fields of Title, Author, Date Added to List, Call Number, Location, or Star attribute. This gives staff flexibility when adding lists to the app from Create Lists, and allows them to quickly sort items in a list while working in the stacks or moving throughout the library.

For increased usability in this release, fields on the Item Detail screen were rearranged and now include Last Check in, Check in Location, Last Checkout Date, and Year-to-Date Circ. In addition, users can now view the Copy Number field on the main list view as well as on the Item Detail screen. Library staff now have more information at their fingertips for on-the-go decision making in the stacks without having to return to their desk or reference a potentially outdated printed list.

The launch of Mobile Worklists Release 2.7 marks the fourth enhancement release for the app in 2017. Mobile Worklists customers can download the new version of the mobile app from the Apple App Store immediately. Devices configured for automatic downloads (most common) will receive the update automatically. Mobile Worklists is currently available for library partners using Sierra.
