Atlanta, GA - June 9, 2014 - LYRASIS announces the addition of MaryEllin Santiago to the non-profit membership organization that collaborates with libraries, archives, museums and other cultural heritage organizations to better access, acquire, manage and share content. Effective June 10, 2014, MaryEllin will serve as the Director of LYRASIS Engagement and Programs, responsible for the overall service to LYRASIS members and ensuring our ability to offer programs and services that add value to our member institutions, their staff and end users. MaryEllin will oversee the Membership, Member Support, Member Representative and Engagement & Training teams, working across the organization to enrich and sustain member relationships and partnerships in a variety of cultural heritage communities, while expanding our member base.
MaryEllin Santiago is no stranger to the library and cultural heritage world. Having more than 20 years' experience, MaryEllin has worked for Voyager Learning and Gale, and has also served as a consultant, collaborating with local communities on engagement and building support for their public libraries. MaryEllin will not only share this knowledge of the communities that LYRASIS serves, but will also provide a bevy of strong connections with a diverse range of library and cultural heritage organizational leaders. Her deep skill set includes sales, project management, strategic planning, publishing content and marketing, and team building.
