MCHENRY, Ill., May 7, 2014 –George Gatsis has been named senior vice president of technology platforms for Follett School Solutions, the leading provider of integrated content and technology solutions to the PreK-12 education space. Gatsis began his career with Follett in 1994 as director of development projects for Follett Software Company, now part of Follett School Solutions. Gatsis has played leadership roles in delivering Follett technology solutions to the PreK-12 education space, such as the development and product management of Follett's signature Destiny library management platform. More recently, Gatsis has led strategy and business development in launching the company's Aspen student information system platform. During his 20-year tenure, he held progressively more responsible roles with the company. He most recently served as vice president of strategic planning and partnerships.
Gatsis graduated from University of Utah's College of Engineering with a degree in computer science. He went on to earn a Master of Business Administration degree from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University.
