Blacksburg – Vinod Chachra, President & CEO of VTLS Inc., has been featured in Virginia Tech's Research Magazine in the first of a series of profiles of the six inaugural inductees into the Virginia Tech Entrepreneur Hall of Fame. Appearing in the Spring 2013 issue, the profile outlines his career path as from a Virginia Tech faculty to Vice President of Computing and Information Systems and finally to the successful startup of VTLS as a global provider of library software solutions. The Entrepreneur Hall of Fame was created in April 2012 with six inductees. The selection committee described the six inaugural members of the Entrepreneur Hall of Fame as "a premiere group of faculty members have taken their passions, dreams, time, and effort to create products and services that improve the quality of life for citizens and support the interests of the nation."
