(ByWater Solutions) ByWater Solutions, an open source community contributor and America’s forefront provider of Koha support, announced today that the Free Public Library of Audubon, of Audubon, NJ is now live on Koha! ByWater Solutions completed the migration of the library’s 30,000 plus holdings from Follett last year and is providing ongoing Koha support services to them. The library’s hosting services are provided by Jersey Connect, a program in the state that provides free hosting services to libraries utilizing an open source ILS.

ByWater Solutions completed the migration of the library’s holdings last year and is providing ongoing Koha support and hosting services to them. The collections housed in the Walker’s Archives and Library department include a variety of materials concentrating on the development of the Walker Art Center, as well as focusing on the contemporary arts in the United States and around the world.

ByWater Solutions completed the migration of the library’s holdings from InMagic last year and is providing ongoing Koha support and hosting services to them. The library is also utilizing the Ebsco EDS integrated discovery plugin available with Koha, giving the team a seamless interface when searching for resources.

ByWater was ranked by their customers for their services supporting the Koha Open Source Integrated Library System.

(ByWater Solutions) ByWater Solution announced that they will now provide SSL certificates, acquired through Let’s Encrypt, for all our hosted partners free of charge. ByWater will acquire the certificate, and include all configured URLs for their partner’s site. They will also handle the automatic renewal of the certificate. There will be no extra charge for this service. ByWater will be bringing up all new hosted installations on a secure SSL connection and will be slowly transitioning their existing customers utilizing ByWater Hosting to SSL throughout the next several months.

(ByWater Solutions) ByWater Solutions, an open source community contributor and America’s forefront provider of Koha support, is pleased to announce it has received a platinum award in the third annual Modern Library Awards (MLAs.) The MLAs were created to recognize the top products and services in the library industry in a truly unbiased format. Products and services were submitted in the fall using a simple application, and then were posted on a private site with an enhanced description and attendant materials. These products were batched into small groups and sent to the LibraryWorks database of more than 80,000 librarians at public, K-12, academic, and special libraries. Only customers with experience with these products/services in their facilities were permitted to judge the products/services, resulting in a truly unbiased score.
