Its mission is to serve the NOAA Division assigned to support the EPA National Exposure Research Laboratory (NERL) and the Office of Air Quality Planning and Standards. The major field of interest is the meteorological aspects of air pollution, including numerical and physical model development and application. The library houses a core air pollution reference collection, handbooks, scientific and unabridged dictionaries, major air pollution studies, atlases, almanacs, CD-ROMs, and topographic maps.
