Other Info: The Tirau Library closed permanently on 30 June 2015. There is a Library Link outreach service that now operates seven days per week from the Tirau i-SITE at 63 Main Road Tirau. While not a physical library, the Tirau Library Link provides free public WiFi and internet access, library catalogue access, and item hold, pick-up, and return point. The Tirau Library Link is serviced by the Putaruru Library. Tirau i-SITE is situated inside the big corrugated iron sheepdog building and is a well-known feature on State Highway One.
