Other Info: The Bahá’í World Centre Library is a depository library specializing in publications about or related to the Bahá’í Faith. The collection consists, as of 1997, of nearly 53,500 titles (over 132,000 items) in some 680 languages. It includes over 2,138 Bahá’í periodicals, as well as Braille books, posters, maps, microforms and CD-Roms. Another resource is a file of over 35,000 newspaper clippings about the Bahá’í Faith. Nearly 4,350 audio-visual titles have been processed through the Library. These are held in the collection of the Audio-Visual Department of the Bahá’í World Centre. The library created its own library catalog in 1987 based on Oracle.
