Other Info: Réseau des Bibliothèques de Suisse occidentale is a network of libraries from the French speaking part of Switzerland using a common cataloging system. It involves some 600 librarians working in 180 research and reference libraries grouped in 5 major entities reflecting the political structure of the 5 French speaking (2 of them have German speaking parts) cantons of Switzerland, under the auspices of the University Conference of Western Switzerland (CUSO). RERO serves five universities with an enrollment of approximately 35''000 students. Their libraries serve a public of over 100''000 readers in the regions where they are located.
