Other Info: Authorized by Congress in 1879, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Library, consisting of three locations in Reston, VA; Denver, CO and Moffett Field, CA, is recognized as one of the world’s largest Earth and natural science libraries. The USGS Library provides services to fulfill a wide range of research and reference requests; management of multidisciplinary, multi-format, physical and digital collections, and licensed content; and dissemination of institutional research output via
USGS Publications Warehouse and
ScienceBase.
We went live with Alma and PrimoVE on June 4, 2018. Since then, we have integrated the library catalog with USGS Publications Warehouse and ScienceBase.
