Other Info: The Rosenbach both an independent special collections research library (open to all interested researchers, by appointment) and a museum, located in the former home of brothers Philp H. and A.S.W. Rosenbach, dealers in and collectors of rare books, manuscripts, and fine and decorative arts from 1903 to 1953. The greatest strengths of the collections, reflecting the interests of the founders, are American history and American and English literature and book illustration. The archives of the Rosenbach Company are an important resource for the history of the American book trade.
